The Monastery of Sopronbánfalva presents Zsuzsa Péreli’s exhibition again. The most beautiful pieces of the Kovács Gábor Collection can be seen here. You can see watercolors, collages and the Monastery’s very own tapestry.
Zsuzsa Péreli was inspired by one of the nearly 300-year-old frescos in the Refectory. Axis Mundi is the name of tapestry that she made especially for the Monastery. It reflects the connection between heaven and earth. Extraordinary destinies, themes and fabrics are intertwined – figuratively and literally – in this tapestry. The exhibition opens on March 1th.
Opening hours: Monday–Sunday 10–18h.
Advance reservation is recommended. The exhibition may either change its opening hours or it may be closed during other events at the Monastery. Please make sure to get informed about the opening hours from our associates.
