On the other side of the former iron curtain international speakers and top talents will present their ideas worth spreading about the infinity of dreams to an incredible audience of like minded people. This fascinating topic has indeed the power to create some inspiring TED-moments.

Besides the event in the overwhelming atmosphere of the monastery, the international audience will have the chance to get interactive, taste best food and beverages of the Pannonian region and also experience several art performances that handle with the topic infinite dreams.

About TED

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 25 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.
The annual TED Conference invites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes. Their talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Al Gore, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani,Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabel Allende and UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
The annual TED Conference takes place in Long Beach, California, with simulcast in Palm Springs; TEDGlobal is held each year in Oxford, UK. TED’s media initiatives include TED.com, where new TEDTalks are posted daily, and the Open Translation Project, which provides subtitles and interactive transcripts as well as the ability for any TEDTalk to be translated by volunteers worldwide.
TED has established the annual TED Prize, where exceptional individuals with a wish to change the world are given the opportunity to put their wishes into action; TEDx, which offers individuals or groups a way to host local, self-organized events around the world, and the TEDFellows program, helping world-changing innovators from around the globe to become part of the TED community and, with its help, amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities.

About the organizer

The organiser of the TEDx Pannonia 2011 is the innovative talent-forge Dream Academia. DreamAcademia supports Talents, Start-ups and DreamA`s to develop and shape the society of tomorrow. An open, better and motivated society in which everybody is allowed and supported to do exactly what he loves to do and in the best case other people may participate and benefit in a positive way.
One method, Dream Academia does this, is by presenting extraordinary people at DA-events and on their platform. Once inspired, they have to be linked with like-minded people and mentors, who help them to go their way.
DreamAcademia enables people to think and talk about their dreams to other people and to start developing their dreams by an optimal use of their own potentials. The goal is that people recognize their unused potential as a first step on the way to fulfil their dreams. This is part of the dream(s) circle, which has to be activated: discover – recognize – establish – accomplish – multiply – sustainable success.
The innovation conference TEDxPannonia is one of those initiatives that contribute to this vision.
