Personal development June 7-8

Live your life with self-responsibility!

We are responsible for our thoughts, our feelings and our actions. We are not responsible for events that happen to us, but we are responsible for how we handle these events, i.e. how we react to our environment and to the people and situations in our lives.

When we have problems with our environment, it is often the case that these problems stem from our own unfulfilled expectations of other people or events. We can ask for help and should express our wishes. At the same time, however, we are responsible for finding the solution to our problems. We should not expect a solution to come from others, as that would only make us dependent on them.

Every person has all of the necessary abilities and experiences to be able to change themselves in line with their own desires. It is better to work with strengths than to combat weaknesses. Every person is a unique individual. Consequently, it is better to develop one’s own capabilities rather than to chase some kind of kind of ideal image.

We have at our disposal everything we need to lead a fulfilled life. Accordingly, we should not only rely on our reasoning and awareness, but also draw upon the power of our feelings and our body, along with abilities and strengths of our subconscious.

Using the methods of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), the following issues can be addressed:

• Developing and reinforcing self-assuredness and self-confidence
• Making independent decisions and then taking action
• Saying goodbye to people and circumstances you love
• Overcoming undesired obsessions and dependencies (smoking, excessive eating, etc.)
• Stopping compulsive behaviour (e.g. chewing your nails, making faces, playing with your hair, etc.)
• Handling uncomfortable feelings (e.g. stage fright, phobias and anxiety attacks, etc.)

Course facilitator: Joachim Zeiß

I have always been interested in making music, developing philosophies, experimenting with knowledge and exploring spirituality. The quest for theoretical understanding alone has never been able to satisfy me.
For more than 20 years I have practised Zen meditation and I seek out opportunities to integrate insights from my contemplations in my everyday life. The methods of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) ultimately helped me reach these goals.
As a result, my life has blossomed in self-responsibility and personal freedom. I would enjoy passing this gift on to you.
My guiding principle: You always have freedom, and you can learn how to live it.
